Electric Conversions

With an electric conversion you are in complete control.

Is your Aga costing you more than you would like?
Moving to a property without gas or oil?

With an electric conversion, there is no longer the ‘Always on’ mode of the traditional Aga set up. You can turn ovens and hobs, up, down and off independently of each other. If energy prices have got you thinking about the future of your oil or gas Aga range cooker, or you want a more ‘controllable’ solution, now is the time to upgrade!

Convert your Aga to electric for better cost efficiency and control

Here’s more information on the difference:

  • Uses a bigger electric cable (32amp) than Electrikit (13amp x 2), so can heat its various components up a bit quicker with larger elements. That makes it a slightly harder job for your electrician to prepare the supply pre-installation or conversion. It doesn't use any more power though. Imagine it takes 4 units of electricity to heat some metal to 200°C. eControl will deliver those units in about a third less time than Electrikit. Same amount of power and heat, slightly less time.
